We had been planning this trip for about a month by the time we got around to actually choosing a definite date. We all had to plan around the rest of our lives. For example I had to plan around my karate schedule and Dylan had to make sure she did't have any auditions or photo shoots, luckily Morgan is almost always free(unless it's scrabble season). A couple days before we left I decided it was Dylan's responsibility to rent the car we would use. I made it her responsibility simply because I knew it would be hilarious to watch her panic as she decided which car or van we would need. After a couple minutes of panic she chose the red Volkswagen bus, her reasoning was that we could all sleep in the back to save a bit of money. We only ended up sleeping in the bus once, but oh well.
The morning of our departure we met in front of my house. Morgan and Dylan showed up at 9:00, hoping to leave by 9:30. It just so happened that I hadn't set an alarm and the girls spent ten minutes walking around my house trying to find my room and a way to wake me up. I woke up that morning with two girls loudly tapping on my windows wondering why I wasn't awake yet. I quickly packed a few last things and ate a quick breakfast. We spent a couple minutes packing our stuff into the bus and then we took a photo for Dylan to post to Instagram because she said she would die if we didn't. We finally departed by 9:45. A great start to a great road trip.
